El Metate Cafe was founded in 2007 by Everardo and Ana, immigrants from Mexico who had a passion for Authentic Mexican cuisine and wanted to share it with the world. Ana, who originates from Nayarit, a coastal state on the Pacific Ocean, and Eve, who originates from Zacatecas, a norther-central state known for its Sierra Madre Occidental mountain range, bring a unique mixture of coastal and inland cuisine that offers their clients an eclectic array of Mexican delicacies.
